Loved the stay. Nice welcome. A lovely couple who have revamped a business and made a very good job. The lush carpet leads up to a comfortable room with a warm laminate floored room ( felt very clean) and a room with a gorgeous bed and a fridge. The bed linen felt gorgeous and the towels too. Good location too… east to get to shops etc. We didn’t have breakfast but I’m sure it would be good! The entry and room doors are all good and secure with electronic passes. They live on site and assured us any problems just buzz. Very nice stay.
Richard and Olga are the perfect family host. They make us feel at home from the first moment. The bedrooms are nice and so clean. It's very close to the town center and to the beach, so the location is great. If you are looking for a visit in torquay DON'T HESITATE TO STAY HERE!!!
Stayed as was visiting my 88 year old relative. Recently upgraded period Victorian property. There was everything you would needed available and nothing was a problem for the owners. Easy asses to come and go as you please, very comfortable, clean, with everything you could need. Could not have asked for more. I would highly recommend.
We had a great stay at this guest house. The couple Olga and Richard are very welcoming and friendly. Rooms are very comfortable and well stocked with tea and coffee. Location is very good with the high street shops and the harbour around 10 minutes walk. This is definitely a place to stay for your visit. Thanks so much for a great stay
We stayed in this guest house for one night with the whole family and were pleasantly surprised by the service of the hosts, who were very welcoming and hospitable. The room was very clean and good level of security. The location of the guest house is very convenient, there is a large supermarket nearby and many great restaurants. We booked a room with breakfast, which was delicious. I recommend this guest house to all my friends.
Superb experience overall. The host is a really nice guy and very accommodating. We had a specific request which he managed to do for us which made a huge positive difference to our weekend and we were extremely grateful. The location is ideal, room absolutely spotless and there is parking. Would absolutely reccomend anyone to stay here. 5/5. Thanks.
Had a very enjoyable 3 nights at the Midway recently. The host Richard was extremely friendly and went to great lengths to ensure that my stay was perfect. The room was spotlessly clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the shower excellent. This lovely guest house is also well located, just up from the shopping area with the beach not far off. I would highly recommend a stay here as I plan to return again soon.
Had a fabulous stay. Our host was so friendly, able to assist us with our questions and went above and beyond. The room was appointed wonderfully, had a ceiling fan , comfortable bed and the ensuite was fresh, clean and spacious. Would definitely recommend a stay here. We ended up staying another night as it was so comfortable and located close to everything. Thanks Richard and the team. You legend!!
